Darkened woods, entangled vines
Dreams of death my mind entwine
Hesitant to stand alone
Yet through it all
I must not fall.
Through lonely plains of unknown fields
Blue spacious skies will soon reveal
The tears locked
deep inside my soul
Make way to glorious days of gold.
In lonely rapture I now stand
Yet heart beats stronger
than any man.
In solitude yet undefeated
My soul embarks on a newfound journey
For future lies radiantly ahead
and happiness will come again
to dismiss clouds of lonely gray
to bloom in fields a bright new day.
Once
bound, now I am free.
I'll look beyond my eyes dismayed
to grow beyond my wildest dreams
untold, unfelt and
yet unseen.
