Laying here beside you

in your arms so comfortably,

I'm reminded of the feelings

I hold so sacredly.

I soar over the mountains

Float weightlessly on the seas,

Fly together with the angels

Then I wind up on my knees.

Thanking God for what He's given me,

For this miracle come true

For the beauty of this love,

For the wonder that is you.

For the chance to share my life with you,

For true love overflowing,

For this special gift from Heaven,

To treasure endlessly.

And as I lay here in tranquility,

Cuddled sweetly in your arms,

I'm inspired by your beauty,

I'm enveloped by your charms.

And as the years they pass us by

It's as if we've only met

Adding only precious passion

to this feeling of content.

Though the lightning crashes down

and the rain we sometimes fret.

though many storms we've weathered,

We have done so with no regrets.

For there's a reason God created me,

It's so evident to see.

Intertwined, soaring with the angels above

Like thin fibers weaved together
