Dark was the day when I looked in your eyes.
Unable to see what would soon be.
Living my life behind a veil of love.
Left me in confusion when it was my heart you tore.
You swore it was forever.
Just one more of your lies.
Made me believe in you, made me so blind.
Clever was the scheme you plotted,
Leaving my soul depleted, leaving
me completely shattered.
But time passes on and with each day I learn,
that you were an instrument in my soul's

Because you have now freed me from this depleting veil I was under.
